Mohave Community College is seeking a seasoned academic financial leader to help shape its evolving footprint and drive cultural and operational change. Serving as a strategic thought partner to executive leadership, the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will ensure MCC's fiscal health by strengthening its financial performance and championing its sustainability plan.
Master's degree from an accredited institution in accounting, business or related discipline
Ten (10) years of experience in accounting, business, auditing, or a related discipline
Five (5) years of progressively responsible supervisory experience
Any combination of education and experience that results in possession of skills, knowledge and behaviors as outlined in the position’s core competencies below.
Five (5) or more years of experience in a higher education environment

Keep up-to-date on changes to fiscal procedures, principles, standards, rates, etc. Ensure all financial data is properly calculated and reported. Responsibly allocate and account for use of fiscal resources, evaluating alternatives and weighing their benefits.
