Serves as the Chief Financial Officer and leads all aspects of financial planning and execution for the Haas School of Business. Reports directly to the Dean and gives advice on financial strategy across a wide range of problems. Leads the school's long-term financial strategy, ensuring that financial goals go hand in hand with reputational and programmatic goals.
Establishes strategic financial objectives in concert with senior leadership. Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinate managers.
Manages, prepares, administers, and directs control of budget / organizational resources.
Manages the activities of financial analysis, financial aid, and capital projects teams.
Oversees the analysis and policy development for organization-wide funding issues and budget processes, resource allocations, and funding models.
Oversees major capital projects at Haas starting with the prioritization of those projects, partnering with Capital Projects to ensure timeline and budget are followed, and communicates outcomes of those projects to Haas stakeholders, as necessary
Maintains the integrity of the organization's budget reporting and tracking systems through supervision and oversight of budget and fiscal staff and protocols; functions as chief budget liaison for resource allocations.
Serves as a member of Haas's senior management team and provides input on matters concerning several functional areas, units, and / or customers at Haas and central campus.
Takes an active role with financial strategy and operations for our Centers & Institutes.
Manages activities of two or more sections or departments (ex: Financial Aid and Business Services) through subordinate managers who exercise full supervision in terms of costs, methods, and employees.
Develops, modifies, and executes appropriate internal controls to protect University resources.

Education / Training
Advanced degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
Salary & Benefits
This is an exempt, monthly paid, career appointment. Annual salary will be commensurate with experience; hiring range is $150,000.00 - $200,000.00.
