The Chief Financial Officer (CFO), reporting to the President, is a key member of the Executive Team and instrumental in driving the business forward and making sound strategic decisions. Responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company and managing overall financial risk.
Directly responsible for financial forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis and negotiations, partnership compliance and capital equipment financing; all with an eye on striking the proper balance between fueling the company’s growth initiatives while navigating the associated financial risk.
Directs all financial activities of the company including financial plans, policies, financial reporting and forecasts. Responsibility includes staffing and managing the performance of the finance department.
Responsible for financial, investment, and multi-state tax strategies.
Provides budgetary planning – both short-term and long-term, as well as operating and capital budgets.
Ensures the organization captures all revenue, pays and collects on time, and publishes meaningful financial reports that include insightful trend analysis.
Collaborates with sales team on new customer opportunity analysis, solution development, and pricing. Reviews engineering computations and approves pricing models before the proposal is presented to a new customer.
Ensures accuracy of initial invoices for new customers and ensure that the customer is configured properly in the WMS and the billing is accurate.
Develops, measures, and reports on key metrics tied to strategy. Reviews our performance against key metrics and propose new pricing to existing customers.
Ensures the use of the most up to date technology and resources to streamline operations and procedures.
Provides excellent internal and external customer service
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance required; Master’s preferred.
A minimum of five years related experience required
Working knowledge in all Microsoft applications as well Tableau, SalesForce or other data mining and reporting tools.
Must demonstrate high level of interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work well under pressure and problem solve across a variety of business processes. Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail.
