The University of South Florida, member of the American Athletic Conference, located in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Senior Associate Athletic Director / CFO. This individual will oversee all financial management and business operation functions for the Intercollegiate Athletics department including, but not limited to, developing and monitoring the annual operating budget, preparing and certifying financial reporting requirements, long-term financial and capital planning and forecasting, debt and cash management and oversight of capital project financing. This position will also, develop and assist in negotiating contracts with coaches and external partnerships (i.e. multi-media, website, apparel, licensing, etc.), supervise and manage the personnel management functions of the Athletics departments payroll and business office and serve as the Chief Financial Officer for USF Sun Dome, Inc., a direct support organization (DSO) of USF established to manage and operate the University arena. They will ensure all assigned tasks are in compliance with department, University, American Athletic Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. The Senior Associate Athletic Director / CFO will report to and provide counsel to the Vice President of Athletics on financial planning, reporting and budgetary matters, as well as any other projects and initiatives that have been assigned.

MINIMUM: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, or related field with a minimum of five years related exempt experience or a Master's degree in those same fields with a minimum of three years of related exempt experience.
PREFERRED: Master's degree and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Six or more years of experience in intercollegiate athletics at a Division I NCAA institution. Experience in regard to budget planning, fiscal management, and internal and external operational management in NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics.
