Highly responsible administrative/managerial work in planning, developing, coordinating, directing, supervising, and organizing the finance and accounting functions within a comprehensive behavioral health care organization.
Directs the Agency's Accounting/Payroll, Insurance/Billing, and Business Office department and/or functions. Supervises assigned staff. Provides leadership and motivation to staff on departmental matters to ensure optimal office and unit operations and functioning.
Completes the preparation of reports and complex budget and financial documents to assure sound planning and compliance with program requirements.
Serves as resource for Agency and Senior Management Team and works collaboratively with other Senior Management Team members for the best possible organizational outcomes. Works closely with Chief Executive Officer to ensure that Agency performance and outcome are optimal in accordance with Agency mission.
Represents the Agency or CEO at meetings/conferences as directed. Attends Executive and full Board of Director meetings.
Maintains liaison with independent auditors, outside consultants, state and federal auditors, and other regulatory officials.
